Inclusive Fashion: Our Sources of Inspiration this Fall

U-Exist was born with the ambition of revolutionizing the perception of aesthetics within the disabled community. Far from being the only players promoting disability fashion, this month we invite you to discover the sources that inspire us, from trends observed at Nelly Rodi to the discovery of influential figures in the field of inclusion.

Nelly Rodi™ trend books

Prescribers of tomorrow's fashion, the renowned trend consultancy Nelly Rodi™ helps brands find the inspiration to stick to the zeitgeist.

This month, we've drawn our inspiration from their trend books to bring you a selection of designs on the theme of Reconstruction, in the spotlight this September 2023.

"When the planet's survival is at stake, it's time to get your hands dirty. Literally or figuratively, it doesn't matter: working with matter is approached in a proactive way to rebuild."

Make way for raw materials. They emerge from the earth (rocks, fossils, shells), from trees (bark, branches) or are recycled (reclaimed metals, repurposed fabrics). Patterns in raw materials draw their beauty from authenticity. Without artifice, they emphasize the simplicity and purity of natural elements, while paying homage to imperfections, which give them a unique quality and undeniable charm .
