OUR HISTORY
Surrounded by cold and impersonal devices, Simon Colin, a graduate in orthopedics, is convinced that aesthetics should move in the world of disability. With his artistic background and his love for the world of tattoos, he wondered: Why not personalize orthopedic devices... like tattoos?
This is how U-exist was born and the vision of disability was revolutionized by fashion. Combining aesthetics and technology in a previously aseptic device, U-exist allows the customization of all types of orthopedic devices: prostheses, orthoses, corsets, lifts, cruro-pedals...
Thanks to the support of ortho-prosthetists, designers and partners, U-exist pushes back the boundaries of disability with the sole aim of to let the personality and style of each person fitted express themselves.

SIMON COLIN - FOUNDER
An ortho-prosthetist by profession, Simon is shocked by the cold and aseptic vision of orthotics and its relationship with the patient. His crazy bet: customize the devices in the manner of tattoos. With his experience and knowledge, he will develop innovative and technical solutions adapted to the manufacturing environment of the devices.
Always researching and listening to his clients, Simon makes it a point of honour to create new technical processes adapted to all, so that professionals and patients can smile again.
CHLOÉ GHESQUIER - PROJECT MANAGER
In 2022, the team grows with the arrival of Chloé, project manager and Simon's partner. Trained in design at schools in Valenciennes, Le Mans, and Montreal, Chloé worked on various events for the Lille World Design Capital event in 2020 before discovering and joining U-exist. A true Swiss Army knife between administration and creation, convinced by our common values, Chloé offers us her artistic vision while providing advice and listening to our clients.
