A new series of "strange" patterns!

Alien, Stranger Things, Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy or Dune... at U-Exist, science fiction never ceases to fascinate us and make us dream, so much so that it inspired us to create this brand new series of designs that are, to say the least... strange!

Borrowed from pop-culture codes and tinged with cinematographic references, the Strangecollection is characterized by patterns mixing 3D drawings, textures, optical illusions and natural elements .

Will you be able to recognize the references slipped into our designs? Decrypting!👇

1. VECNA

It's a real tribute to the artist Hans Ruedi Giger, who inspired the SF movies since the 70's and especially the famous Alien by Ridley Scott. But yes, VECNA is also a reference to the main antagonist of the fourth season of Stranger Things!

2. STORM

STORM is an allusion to the 1996 disaster movie Twister, directed by the German Jan de Bont, which tells the story of a team of scientists tracking down tornado phenomena. It is also a tribute to2012, a famous American dystopia in reference to the Mayan prophecy and its calendar announcing the end of a cycle... in 2012. And since we are quite rock'n'roll oriented here, we really wanted to leave you the excellent Riders on the Storm in mind 😈 (you're welcome.)

3. SLIME

In SLIME are hidden pretty textures with ghostly looks... among others, a reference to the cult Ghostbusters (or Ghost Bastards depending on your taste!) Not to mention the eccentric Flubber which we like to remember the main character played by the great Robin Williams ❤️

4. STRANGE

Can you recognize these little "eighties" references hidden in our STRANGE pattern? It is indeed a tribute to the excellent series Stranger Things. Do we need to say more? Totally addictive, we love it for its Stephen King-like atmosphere, its 80's settings that are close to perfection, its cult music and its top actors..."Easy Peasy" !

5. ELEKTRIK

And then, how to talk about science fiction without evoking the mythical saga Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy or even Dune? These cult works and their incredible intergalactic epics inspired us to create the ⚡️ELEKTRIK⚡️motif !
